Where is the wedding happening?

Answer

The wedding will be at the Frick Park Environmental center which is located on the edge of Frick Park, a 650 acre park and the largest city park in Pittsburgh. There are lots of trails and other things to see if anyone is feeling adventurous pre wedding.

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside and we have an indoor space for the rest of the event that has a balcony and covered patio.

Dress code??

Answer

Whatever you feel happy, comfortable and delightful wearing! There will be some outside time on a mix of grass and concrete just so those planning to wear heels are aware but it should be ok and the majority of time will be on solid ground.

Are children invited?

Answer

YES! We actively would love children to come and be a part of our wedding celebrations.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar with loads of cool and fun drinks but there will be no alcohol at our wedding!!

Will there be a gap between your ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are happening in the same location but there will be a short break between the wedding ceremony and the rest of the event in order for people to mingle and have a drink and a snack.

Answer

There will be drinks and hors d'oeuvres, drinks to toast and a delicious sit down meal.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Anyone with a single invite is welcome to bring a plus one but please let us know asap.

Venue accessibility

Answer

The venue is very accessible to all, there is a ramp entrance and an elevator that can take any guests down to the level of the outdoor ceremony. For those still conscious of Covid you are absolutely welcome to wear a mask at any stage if you feel more comfortable doing so around lots of people.

Transport and parking?

Answer

The venue parking area will be under construction during the wedding but there is some street parking directly outside and other on street parking in the general area. The usual ride apps operate in the area and there are some buses that go fairly close but not right to the venue. Please just get in touch if you need help figuring it out!
