We met when Nick & his best friend Jon were on the hunt for the best wings in NYC but took a pit stop to check on Jon's girlfriend & decided that she (and all the other girls) were entirely too inebriated to part ways. The boys decided to stay and hang out, got some wings & then some bananas from a fruit stand... Kerrie doesn't remember most of it, but was clearly very charming. We were just supposed to be friends & go on fun adventures, but here we are....

Probably his proudest story, Nick proposed to Kerrie with a scavenger hunt that went on all day & ended at their new home (which they weren't living in yet). Kerrie had a scheduled hair appointment that morning, so the fun began when she was told that her color & cut was already paid for - she was handed a sunflower (her favorite) and a card with a large #4 on the front with a fun poem and instruction to go to the nail salon. Kerrie went to the nail salon & got a pretty manicure and was handed another sunflower & card with a large #3. This card sent her to her parents house to pickup her mom, who brought her to the mall for an outfit to wear. After shopping (and only buying sweatpants..) she got ready & was handed another sunflower & card from her dad which to no surprise, had a large #2 on the front. This card led Kerrie to Lilly Flannigan's, a bar she frequented when she was still using her fake ID & dancing until 3am, to find three of her best friends (and now bridesmaids) sitting at the bar having a drink. Even though they claim this was their usual Saturday girls night out, they invited Kerrie to join for a pretzel & drink before being handed the final card & sunflower. This card, with a large #1, had a sweet poem & instructed her to drive over to the home Nick & her had just bought. When she arrived & walked around to the backyard, there were beautiful string lights & flowers all around, and a song started playing which led Kerrie to a monitor with a video of photos from their relationship. Eventually Nick snuck out & surprised her with a big "will you marry me" painted on their fence & officially got on one knee. Nick planned stunningly with a photographer hiding out for photos & his sister Kristie & Kerrie's sister Taryne hiding in the bushes to watch the proposal. Kerrie was blown away and couldn't believe what he had done - and then friends & family showed up to celebrate. It couldn't have been a more perfect countdown

Nick & Kerrie married one another in a beautifully intimate ceremony at Kerrie's parents house with only their immediate families present. Kerrie's dad walked her down the aisle & danced with her - some of the most wonderful memories they will ever have & hands down the most memorable thing about 2021
