Our story began at the beach in the Summer of 2016. After meeting and talking online, we decided it was time to meet in person, and surprisingly, were both going to be in Ocean City the same weekend. We agreed to meet at a huge nightclub and when we did, there was an instant connection. We had a great first night, getting to know each other better. Kerri’s friends, who were along for the evening, all instantly liked Mike too. We lived over an hour away from each other so getting together was tough ... but we did it. We went to our first Orioles/Red Sox game in September and really took the next step by becoming FB friends :) Within 2 months of dating we both knew we had something special. We went back to the beach for a fall weekend to celebrate our time together and toast to our shared future. We went from seeing each other every weekend, to that not being enough and so we tried to get together one or two times during the week. Soon even that didn't even seem like enough time. Kerri moved her crew to a townhouse in the fall 2017. We worked to make it “ours” with furniture and decorations knowing that someday we wanted to be together forever, but we hadn’t planned to live together until we married. In May 2018, we cruised to Bermuda for Kerri’s 50th birthday and Mike got down on one knee for a surprise marriage proposal. Being apart took on a whole new meaning and was taking a toll on both of us. We decided it was best to transition into one house/one family. In the Fall 2018, Mike was able to sell his house and move to Rockville/Derwood to settle in so we could be together. With our 2019 wedding in the near future, we are excited to share our home, our lives, our hearts, and our families. Back to the beach we go!
