Our love story began in a way that felt straight out of a classic romance novel: two strangers locking eyes across a crowded bar and instantly falling in love. Well, not quite! Although, our story did start in a bar called Sportsman in Los Alamitos, CA. I happened to work next door at The Original Fish Company, and Kevin was a regular at Sportsman. He was one of the first people I met there, though I'm not sure he'd recall it now if you asked him. However, that initial encounter planted a seed of curiosity in me. It wasn't until one chilly night in December 2018 that I mustered up the courage to stop him at the door and slip him my phone number. It took him some time to call, but a few months later, our real love story began. And the rest, as they say, is history.
