WE ARE GETTING MARRIED

Kenzie´s Point Of View: We met Sophomore year of high school in our English class! Dylan needed some help writing his English paper because he had said he had a concussion and wouldn´t get a good grade...when really I think he knew he would just get a better grade with my help! We went from sitting hip to hip in class, to hanging out after school, to hockey games, and even meeting each-others families! About a year after becoming friends we decided we wanted to be something more. We were so swept up in just being called ¨a couple¨ that we did not, and still technically do not have a date we started dating! We made November 1st, 2019 our anniversary date because Dylan had said it would be easier to remember! We celebrated our first year together, High School graduation together, then soon after, Dylan left for the Marines and I left for college where we celebrated our 2 year milestone apart. After doing 1 year of long distance, which was one of the toughest milestones for us, we got our first apartment across the country from all our family and friends where Dylan had been stationed in North Carolina where we celebrated our 3 years together<3 We created a new life on our own, making new friendships and starting our own little family by adding our sweet dog, Dakota, to the mix. On December 25th 2022, Dylan got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of our lives together. Of course and ever so obviously, I said YES!
