~~~We’re getting married!!~~~

Through God’s perfect orchestration, we both said “yes” to working at a summer camp in Ayden, NC. Kenyel’s first week at camp, he was assigned to Grace as her co-counselor. At first, they thought nothing of it, but as they served the Lord together, God closed the doors on their individual pasts and opened the opportunity to step into a relationship with each other. They talked for a week, went on one official date, and the rest was history.

Kenyel and Grace were certain all along that God was moving in their favor for them to marry. They had been talking about it as they dated with intention. Kenyel told Grace it wasn’t going to be a surprise, but she was fine with it. “To wait for it to be a surprise leaves room for doubt.” Later, they got to planning and saving while Grace was still in school at Liberty University. During a school break, they went ring shopping and there he gave her the ring of her dreams and of course, she said Yes! We are both joyfully anticipating your fellowship with us as we celebrate what the Lord has done. See you in Tennessee!
