The address for Willow Camp is 3325 Hwy 1, Stinson Beach. Make sure you are traveling to Stinson Beach.... NOT Santa Cruz. Take either Highway 1 or Panoramic Highway over the mountain ridge into Stinson Beach. There is limited parking at Willow Camp. If you are driving in on the day of the ceremony, and would be interested in carpooling with other guests, see form below. Some public parking is available in town or at the intersection of Panoramic Highway & Highway 1. There is extensive parking in the public lot for the beach but they lock up the lot one hour after sunset - about 7:30p.
Check out the maps and info at www.willow-camp.com You can enter Willow Camp by foot from Hwy 1 from Willow Camp Way (Carriage House Gate). If you do end up parking in one of the few spots behind the Whale Gate or Seahorse Gate, you will be near the Lodge and will walk down little paths to the Pavilion. For most people staying in town, the "beachside entrance" for Willow Camp will be easiest. Enter from the beach parking lot a block south from the Parkside Snack Shack (on the public parking side, not the town streets). Look for the gate with Willow Camp plaque.
October is typically one of the warmest and most beautiful months in Stinson Beach. Expect the temperature to be in mid 70s during the day. Cross your fingers for some clear, sunny weather, especially on Saturday! Being at the coast, as soon as the sun goes down, the fog can come in, winds pick up and temperature drop to the low 50s.
CEREMONY For our ceremony and celebration think cocktail / semi-formal Cut a comfortable, elegant profile, feel fancy but not stuffy. Be festive and creative! The entire celebration will take place outside on the grass, gravel, uneven pathways and sandy surfaces so wear practical shoes. You will be sitting on a worn wooden bench so please take care when sitting as we don't want you to snag your fancy outfits! Dancing will take place on decomposed granite - which is hard and sand-like so you might consider bringing an extra pair of shoes so you can cavort in comfort. Bring a hat and sunglasses for sun protection during the day. Evenings will be cool so bring cozy layers, coats, beanies, favorite jackets, pashminas, or sweaters. OTHER TIMES Enjoy Willow Camp in your beach bathers, wet suits, floppy hats, shorts and sundresses. Eat tacos in your favorite Mexican serape or opt for a jumpsuit, linen slacks or palazzo pants. Espadrilles, sunglasses and tie dye are always a good option, especially for brunch.
Having you with us to celebrate is the perfect gift. If you feel like you want to give a little more, we did create 2 registries. https://www.sarahkersten.com/apps/giftregistry/registry/281051 https://food52.com/shop/registry/17012-michael-and-kathryn
