It was our friend Dave's birthday and we were both invited to Outback Steakhouse for dinner to celebrate. He drove the "flame truck" that I was less than impressed with. We sat across from each other at the dinner table. I went to my friend Cirena's after dinner and he went out with the boys. When he dropped Cirena's husband Elias off at their house, he came inside to visit and intentionally parked his truck behind my car so he could walk out with me at the end of the night.

On a beanbag chair in my parent's basement, he asked me if I would be his girlfriend! Of course I said yes!

On the beautiful Carolina Beach in North Carolina, after a fun day in the sun with my best friend Lindsey he asked her to take some pictures of us by the pier. In the midst of it all he grabbed the ring box out of his pocket, dropped down on one knee, and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes then too!
