We'd be remiss if we didn't recommend checking out Braxton Headquarters in Covington, KY. This is across the river from the Braxton Cincinnati location, where the party will be Saturday evening.
A fun market to walk around, check out different vendors and grab breakfast or lunch! Cherbourg Cyprus is a delicious gluten-free bakery, Eli's BBQ is a Cincinnati staple, and Carly will never say no to a Babushka Pierogi.
Start your day with a trip over the Ohio River. The Purple People Bridge is a pedestrian bridge that will take you from Ohio's Sawyer Point Park to Kentucky's Newport on the Levee. Newport has an aquarium, movie theatre and tons of food options. If you're in the mood for some German culture, check out Hofbräuhaus Newport.
In their neighborhood, Carly and Kyle will come here for short hikes or picnics on sunny days.
Another park, this one closer to downtown, with lots of walking paths and an impressive view of the Ohio River and Kentucky.
Did you know the oldest building in Cincinnati is the Reptile House at the zoo? (Kyle's favorite piece of Cincinnati trivia that has not been fact checked.)
Our favorite bar: order a nice cocktail or the champagne of beer.
Coffee or wine, you can't go wrong here.
A fun, eclectic coffee shop downtown; try the pistachio croissant if they have it.
When Kyle lived downtown he could smell Coffee Emporium roasting coffee beans on his way home from work.
The best bagels in Cincinnati. If you get a sandwich, we recommend getting a side bagel and cream cheese, they're that good. (Kyle's order: GECCO, Carly's order: NYC Lox)
Chicken and waffles for breakfast or lunch!
The housemade ricotta is mouth-watering to even write about.
