We were at our end of the school year party. We were in the same friend group but had never actually got to hang out at the same time. We all just goofed around and had a good time. We both thought the other was pretty cool and that it would be fun to meet up again. A few days later, Max sent me a message and that's where it all began.

A couple days after my (Kennedy) birthday, we drove to a flower farm in Spencerville, Indiana to make personal bouquets. The place was beautiful, and the weather was perfect. After we got done with the bouquet, we drove to culvers to get ice cream. The fun didn't stop there. Max then drove us to a beautiful park in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We stood in the middle of an area with a beautiful fountain, tall pillars with a gazebo, and gorgeous purple and pink flowers everywhere. Max set up the phone far away so we could take pictures. In the middle of taking pictures, he asked me if I knew how much he loved me? I turned towards him, and he was getting on one knee. I shook my head very excitedly said, "YES", and we were engaged! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Madison!
