We're getting married!

We met initially through a dating app, but Kendra deleted her profile shortly after since she was waiting to be accepted to medical school. We both felt such a strong connection and that we began messaging back and forth. Patrick initially asked Kendra out by suggesting they meet for coffee or ice cream, but Kendra was so swept off her feet by how sweet Patrick was, she suggested dinner. We had our first date at Eagle, where our mutual love of hot chicken began.

During the holidays, we have our own little tradition of doing a "Christmas Date" day, that includes watching our favorite Christmas movies ("Elf" and "A Christmas Story"), making gingerbread, and Christmas lights. In December of 2020, Patrick had secretly set up Christmas lights in the backyard and while we were out looking at Christmas lights at Lake Lanier, Janet and David Haas set up the rest. When we got home from Lake Lanier, Patrick started playing our song when we went to the backyard and got on one knee. And the rest is history.
