Absolutely!! We are kids ourselves. There will be plenty of activities for kids of all ages.
Dawn and Kendall will be getting married in a private ceremony prior to the reception.
If you choose to stay at the hotel, parking will be available through the hotel or safe street parking as available. It is a quick Uber or Lyft ride to the venue. We will also be providing Uber Vouchers for those who decide to leave their vehicles at the venue or hotel. If you are notorious for running late, or don’t plan on staying, there is limited parking available at the venue as well and ample street parking (so be sure to brush up on your parallel parking skills).
Well… We’ll be wearing board shorts. Plus, it’s June in Chicago, so dress for fun and comfortability; we will be outside!
Yes! Currently it acts as the Tactical Operation Center (TOC) and home of Team Rubicon's North Branch Operations Support Team, but from 1874-1975, it really was a Chicago Fire Department, Fire House. The house was decommissioned in 1975 but is still filled with Chicago history, fire pole still included! The venue itself is worth the trip, the reception is really just a bonus!
Yes, we realized after shifting our wedding date to the 18th (you can thank Abbie and Nick Enlow for that, love you guys), that it is Father’s Day weekend. We look at it as an added bonus, come celebrate with us, bring the family, stay the night in a sweet hotel, and then celebrate Father’s Day with an amazing day in beautiful downtown Chicago! Father's Day plans complete! Mom’s… you’re welcome!
