Kendall & Greg met in West Hartford, CT at a birthday party for Kendall's college friend Meghan. At the time, Kendall was living in Boston and just had knee surgery. So when she arrived to the party, she was on crutches with an enormous leg brace (shout out Beatrice!). Greg was living in CT with his buddies and decided to tag along to this party of "a friend of a friend of a friend..." etc. Thank goodness Greg could see past the leg brace and crutches, because they hit it off that night, and the rest is history! It was Labor Day weekend with no plans. So naturally, Kendall & Greg- being the adventurous, outdoorsy type- decided to go on a hike in New Hampshire. Little did Kendall know, this wasn’t a spur-of-the-moment hike. In the months leading up to this day, Greg secretly crafted an elaborate plan to propose to Kendall at the top of the mountain. Because Greg led Kendall to believe the hike was “her idea,” Kendall didn’t think twice when Greg recommended they bring a selfie stick for pictures. Nor did she have suspicions about what Greg packed in her hiking backpack - which was where he hid the ring! Despite sweating even more than normal, Greg managed to keep his cool the entire hike to the top and capture the surprise engagement on camera. Let the record show - Kendall said (shouted, cried) "YESSSSSSSSS!"
