I had recently moved to Morristown, NJ and joined an adult kickball league to meet some friends. Little did I know, David was doing the same thing. After the first game together, I was having dinner with my dog, Rocky, and decided to reach out to the kickball team to see if anyone wanted to meet up with us for drinks. I made sure David's number was in the group thread before saying anything, just to make sure he would see it. As it turns out, he was the only one who could make it because he lived close by. From that day on, our relationship grew, and it felt like we had known each other forever. We often got asked if we had gone to college together or if we were high school sweethearts. I'm so thankful that life brought us together, and so lucky to spend my life with my best friend! - Kendal From the moment we started dating, I knew Kendal was the one I was going to marry. I always wanted to make sure that the proposal was a big secret and had a plan to go along with it. Christmas was going to be perfect. I made sure she opened all her gifts and kept one "special" gift for the end. This box, labeled "Once you open this our lives will change forever," was the present I was most excited for. I knew that this was the woman I would spend the rest of my life with and I couldn't have been more excited! -David On Christmas morning, Mom and Dad let us run around outside while they had a serious talk. When we came back inside, Mom was wearing a ring and they were calling lots of people on the phone while we played with our new toys. Now, Mom says we have to change our last name at the vet. -Rocky and Harley Dad has asked Mom to spend forever together. This is good, because Dad gives better pets, but Mom gives us catnip. The artist who sings our first dance song is one of the first artists we bonded over, and the lyrics of our song captured how we felt about each other from the very beginning. We were at this band's concert in Dallas shortly after moving here, and as we were dancing and singing along to their set, we agreed: if they played our song next, that will be our first dance song. Of course they played it next, which was enough to convince us this song would be our first dance as husband and wife. Then eight months later, we were pulling up to our venue for our first tour and our song came on in the car ! Just like our love story, this song was meant to be.
