There will be parking provided at the Church and you may park there over-night. The reception is about a 15-20 minute drive from the Church, so if you choose to drive or a Lyft/Uber, make sure you have allowed for time! Note: Uber's and Lyft's can be pretty scarce in Carpinteria, so you may need to catch a ride or schedule one in advance since there will not be transportation provided to the venue. As for the Reception, the Cabrillo West and Cabrillo East public parking lots on either side of the Pavilion are managed by the City of Santa Barbara’s Waterfront Department. Hours of operation are 8AM to 10PM every day. Both lots have self-paying systems and are patrolled regularly. We recommend parking where you will be staying or at the church and finding a ride from there! Hotel shuttle perhaps?
I'm glad you asked! There is an hour and a half between Ceremony end time (3:30 pm) and Reception start time (5 pm). This should give ample time for photos to be taken and transportation to be sorted out. For those that arrive early to the venue, there is a restaurant/bar at the bottom of the venue called Reunion Kitchen, along with the Hyatt being across the street and Hilton about a block down Cabrillo Boulevard should you need a refreshment or snack prior to cocktail hour!
Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes before the start time of our ceremony, as we will begin right at 2:30 pm.
Yes! I have provided a handful of recommendations ranging in price on the "Accommodations" tab.
We hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate in style! We respectfully request no children, but we would be more than happy to have them attend our ceremony. Thank you for your understanding!
Please RSVP by Friday, August 11th, 2023. A formal invitation will be sent before hand, along with a QR code that will allow you to RSVP online.
Cocktail Attire please!
