The short version of the story is that Gary and his twin brother, Glenn, were sitting at a booth at Union Park. Kelsha's friends, who were already there, called her insisting that Kelsha come out. Kelsha was so reluctant that she warned them that she would not be changing her attire at all. So, she showed up to the venue with a messy bun, t-shirt, tights, and tennis shoes. Upon entering Union Park, Kelsha noticed the Richardson brothers and thought, "Hmmm, twins!" Clearly, Gary noticed her as well, as he has a penchant for "under-eyeing" things that he likes, and that is precisely what he did to Kelsha. As Kelsha "worked the room" in search of her friends, Gary reached for Kelsha's arm and said, " You know a lot of people in here, but I don't know you." Kelsha says, "He proceeded to ask me a job interview's worth of questions," and Kelsha finally remarked, "Why are you asking me all of these questions?" To which, Gary replied, "I need to ask all of these questions, if I'm going to marry you." Kelsha laughed and asked, "Does that line really work?" (Glenn says, now, it obviously does!) Gary was very specific and intentional, asking for Kelsha's number and proceeding to let her know precisely when he would call. He kept his word, has been intentional in his dating since, and the rest is history!
