Answer

Please RSVP by July 31, 2024

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is on-site parking for all events at Toad Hill Farm

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited event capacity, unfortunately we have had to restrict numbers of guests. Each invite details guests invited.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Aside from the kids in our wedding party and those traveling from abroad, we've opted for a 21+ guest list. Each invite details guests invited. Should you wish to hire a babysitter for the reception, the venue is able to provide this service. Please reach out so we can help coordinate!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors (inshallah, weather pending) and the reception will be tented.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Early September in New England is lovely (and sometimes unpredictable). You can expect weather ranging from a high of 80°F/27°C in the day to a low of 55°F/13°C in the evening. We recommend bringing a jacket or wrap for the evening reception.

Question

I'm spending the weekend, what should I plan for?

Answer

Our dear friends & local White Mountain residents Vanessa & Teagan have compiled a list of all the best things the area has to offer, check it out on our 'things to do' page! (We recommend bringing active gear as the White Mountains are great for hiking and swimming)

Question

Do I need a visa if I'm travelling from outside the U.S.?

Answer

- Certain countries do not require a visa for tourism up to 90 days. You can check the list here: https://www.dhs.gov/visa-waiver-program-requirements - Even if exempt, all travelers require an ESTA authorization You can apply here: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/disclaimer "ESTA applications may be submitted at any time prior to travel, though it is recommended that travelers apply as soon as they begin preparing travel plans or prior to purchasing airline tickets." - For those requiring a visa, check this site for instructions: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/tourism-visit/visitor.html#:~:text=You%20must%3A%201)%20complete%20the,explained%20in%20the%20Photograph%20Requirements.

Question

Anything I should keep in mind for U.S. travel?

Answer

-Remember to bring an adapter for electronics: For US there are two associated plug types, types A and B. Plug type A is the plug which has two flat parallel pins and plug type B is the plug which has two flat parallel pins and a grounding pin. USA operates on a 120V supply voltage and 60Hz. - Non-US citizens are legally allowed to rent cars, keep in mind we drive on the right side of the road. - For those with kids, a reminder that car seats are required by law for children: "All children must be properly restrained in a federally approved child safety seat appropriate for the child's age, weight and height up to 8 years of age or 65 lbs (29.4kg). Children who are at least 8 years of age or weigh 65 lbs but younger than 16 must be properly restrained in a vehicle's seat belt." - Seat belts are also legally required for all passengers (children & adults) in the state of Massachusetts (for those driving up from Boston). - Uber & Lyft are the apps for any ride share services, however they are typically not available in the White Mountains. They are however available in Boston & Southern NH. https://www.uber.com/ -- has a car seat option https://www.lyft.com/ -- does not have a car seat option
