Train

Step 2: From Firenze SMN, take a train to Buonconvento (closest station to Montalcino) or Siena (a larger hub with more taxi options). To Buonconvento: Change trains in Siena. Journey time: 2–3 hours. To Siena: Direct trains take about 1.5 hours. Step 3: From Buonconvento or Siena, take a taxi or private transfer to Montalcino (30–40 minutes). 2. From Pisa Airport (PSA) Step 1: Take the PisaMover shuttle from the airport to Pisa Centrale train station (5–10 minutes).
