It all started when we were given the last chance to Rub 1 Out. We both spent the weekend like we did any other weekend of the summer, playing ball with good friends and better beer. Neither of us were suppose to be on the team we ended up on, but as the universe would have it, it all came together to create one awesome squad that would later come to win it all. A few games into the day, He asked for a shot of her fireball and she asked to use his bat, the end. Just kidding, But really, thats pretty much how it went down. He was forever captivated by her intense laughter and ball skills while she was swooned by his smooth ginger ways. The deal was sealed when his bat was used to hit her first ever out of the park homerun at their home complex. That bat became hers and in return she became his. Inseperable since, into the future as Champions they went.

It started like any other Sunday during the summer. Early morning wake up calls, cold brisk in the air, and the sounds of shenanigans echoed. Bloody Mary’s and bloody Beers flowed and stories from the night before being told. The music changed to marriage songs and love riffs as a couple was under the scope of interrogation. Another beer was opened and laughs continued to echo. The man walked away to go change, but the universe decided it had other plans. On the ground was THE sign. A big pink flower cupcake ring. It was going to happen, right there, right in that moment. That man got on one knee. “Was this real? Are you sure? GET OVER THERE!” The woman in question grabbed her beer and walked the walk. “Will you marry me?” With hoots, YOHO’s, and hollers in the background, and one last confirmation that this was real from the woman to the man, it was official. “WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!!!!” Surrounded by love, friends, and good drinks the party commenced Beer cans were tied to the four wheeler, wedding music blasting, the couple and group paraded around the town of Talkeetna to yell to all their new commitment. “WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!” They made their way to the grand ole Teepee Bar and there they found their closest friends and even some strangers. They walked in and the place erupted with shock, excitement, laughs, and tears. Shots were bought and the story told. Pictures were taken and lots of hugs were given. The night went long, drinks went down, but the excitement never died. And that girl... she woke up with the ring still on her finger and her fiancé still smiling This was real. Spontaneous.
