Travel Note

When to Arrive/Depart Brazil

We recommend traveling to Brazil at least a day or two before the wedding for international travelers. This will ensure that if you miss your flight, you don't miss the wedding :) We also recommend flying into São Paulo over Campinas as there is more to do in São Paulo. But below you will find information about all nearby airports as well as transportation options to get from the airport to Itatiba, where the wedding is. Rafa and Kelsey will also be doing some traveling in Rio and in São Paulo after the wedding. We welcome anyone and everyone to travel with us :) Our tentative schedule for post-wedding travel is the following: -Monday, July 7th fly from São Paulo to Rio. We are still working on an itinerary of activities in Rio and where we will be staying/recommend staying. People are welcome to join us for any activities or can do their own thing. -Thursday, July 10th fly from Rio to São Paulo. Stay in São Paulo at least through Sunday. Flight

GRU- São Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport

GRU is one of the two airports in São Paulo and has a lot of options for international flights. GRU is about an hour and a half from Itatiba.

CGH: São Paulo/Congonhas Airport

This airport in São Paulo is usually more for domestic flights instead of International flights. This can be an option for people wanting to do traveling in Brazil before/after the wedding.

VCP: Viracopos International Airport

This airport is in Campinas, where Rafa grew up and his parents live. Campinas is about 45 minutes-1 hour to Itatiba.

Transportation from Airport to Itatiba/Venue/Hotel

There are many different options for getting from the airport to Itatiba. 1. Take an Uber- A regular Uber from any of the airports should be around $100 or less. We recommend sharing an Uber with other people if you'd like to use this option. 2. Rent a Car- You can rent a car at any of the Airports and drive to Itatiba. Parking is free at the hotel. Hotel Villa Dangelo We recommend guests stay at the hotel on Friday 7/4 & Saturday 7/5. This hotel is 12 minutes away from our venue. The hotel will be providing free transportation to and from the wedding. The hotel has three room types to choose from. Sharing a room would obviously make the cost lower as all prices are per room and not per person. Breakfast is included. More details below: -Standard Room: Can choose between 1-3 beds. Either twin beds, or can combine 2 twins together for more like a queen size bed. Approximate cost: $140/night -Luxury Room: Queen size bed. Approximate cost: $163/night -Master Room: King size bed with jacuzzi bathtub.
