How we met!

Long before their relationship started, Jared and Kelsey were introduced through Kelsey’s best friend Janelle, who eventually married Jared’s older brother, Shawn. The two star crossed lovers first locked eyes at a toga party, hosted by Janelle back in 2009. Though Kelsey will say to this day, that she didn’t think anything of the young strapping gentleman at the Toga party, Jared, and the photograph below, suggest otherwise. Regardless of her interest, or lack thereof, Jared decided that night, that one day, he would marry Kelsey, “The total babe at the party, that Janelle was friends with.” Time went by and the two went on their own individual paths, experiencing life, moving to different places, and falling in and out of their own relationships. But as fate would have it, 9 years later, their paths crossed again. This time around, Kelsey decided to give the young buck a shot, and the two began dating. They quickly discovered that they were a perfect match and became inseparable. Since that first date so many great memories have been made, the two moved into their home together, enjoyed vacations, celebrated at countless parties, and honed in their parenting skills with their two dogs Roxanne and Louie. Twelve years after he first made up his mind, and three years after Kelsey gave him that first shot, Jared decided to ask Kelsey to Marry him. Surrounded by close family and friends at the 10th annual New Year’s Day Volleyball Tournament. Jared went for it, and she said yes! We are so excited to celebrate with you at our wedding ceremony and reception in August! Love Jared and Kelsey
