What are COVID-19 requirements for the wedding venue?

Answer

(As of June 11, 2021) New York State is no longer requiring venues to contact trace, temperature check, or scan vaccination cards. This may change, but right now that is where we are. You no longer have to show a negative PCR test, but the venue does request that guests who are not vaccinated please wear masks. Masks are optional for vaccinated guests. We completely understand if this makes anyone too uncomfortable to attend.

Where are all the wedding activities taking place?

The welcome party and wedding + reception will all be happening in downtown Buffalo (about 15 minutes from the airport).

Can I bring my children to the wedding activities?

Answer

To give you the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children outside of our immediate family. But if not bringing your children means you won't be able to attend, please reach out to us privately to discuss!

Will transport be provided to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

For guests at the Hyatt and the Hampton, there will be a shuttle to and from the venue. The last shuttle will leave the venue at the end of the reception (midnight), so if you stay for the afterparty, we recommend just taking an Uber back to your hotel!

Where are the best chicken wings?

Answer

There are some mighty tasty wings in Western New York. The best place is Bar Bill Tavern in Kelsey's hometown of East Aurora (about a 25-minute drive from downtown Buffalo). If you're looking for something closer to the hotels downtown, the Anchor Bar is tasty and is supposedly where chicken wings were invented.
