We met in the most millenial way, through Instagram! We talked for over a month before our first date and were smitten since then. We started officially dating after a snowboarding trip up at the cabin, which has now become our tradition every year even though we go quite frequently every winter haha!

We planned our two year anniversary night like we did the previous year, except Alec had something very special I didn't know about! We planned on cooking something special and new we both had never made before. But partway through our night before we had dinner finished, Alec got down on one knee and before he could start talking I was already crying and nodding my head yes. I was crying so hard I can't remember all the beautiful words he told me. And like any woman I had to call my mom immediately who had to act like she didn't know why I was calling as her and Alec had lunch where he asked for my hand in marriage. Overall it was exactly us and so perfect and is a memory I hold very close to my heart.
