Kelsey met Adam in 2011 on her first day working at Chartwell Golf & Country Club. Adam was short with words, but the two became friends pretty quickly. A few months later, after a group of Chartwell friends saw a movie, a co-worker asked Adam if he would mind giving Kelsey a ride home, since he lived in the same direction as her. Kelsey didn’t know Adam THAT well, but being that he called his mom at 2am to ask for directions, she thought he seemed sweet enough. A few days later, Adam and Kelsey had plans with the same group of friends as before, but when those plans fell through, Adam asked Kelsey if she would go out with him anyways; their first date. One or two dates had gone by and Adam told Kelsey the next date would have to wait a bit, and that he and his family were going to NYC to see the Christmas Tree. When he returned, he asked her on a date as promised, and told her he had a surprise for her. At the end of the night, he pulled into the driveway and said, “I didn’t forget about your surprise.” He opened the glove box and pulled out a massive Hershey Kiss that said ‘Merry Christmas Kelsey’ on the ribbon. She thanked him with a kiss ( how could she not, with a suave move like that?) A week later, he asked her to be his girlfriend. 6 years later, he asked her to be his wife.
