As many know, Kelsey and Aaron met while in college at East Tennessee State University. They were both servers at Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen just trying to make a living through college. Kelsey noticed Aaron right off the rip and developed a huge crush on him - her roommates at the time lovingly referring to him as “the guy from Cheddar’s”. Aaron thought Kelsey was cute but didn’t make any moves right away. They started out as coworkers, and then friends, and eventually became a couple.

After they both had graduated from ETSU, Kelsey moved in with Aaron during the Summer of 2020. They decided it was time for a change so they took a leap of faith and moved to Knoxville, Tennessee together for Aaron’s new job offer.

After being together for over 5 and a half years and living together for more than 3 years, Aaron tricked Kelsey into thinking they were getting together with Aaron’s family for Christmas pictures. Kelsey had hoped there was a proposal coming in the near future but had no idea when or where and was DEFINITELY not expecting for it to happen this day. Aaron surprised Kelsey with a beautiful proposal by the river and her dream engagement ring. Now let the wedding planning begin!
