Ben and Kelsey met at a friend-of-a-friends ski condo in Silverthorne, CO in early 2018. Kelsey thought he was cute at first sight, and Ben (apparently) knew she was coming and was prepared with his charm, already crushing on her. They were supposed to get an early day of snowboarding and skiing in the next morning but instead had a night out in Breckenridge. They chatted throughout the night, with a little flirting here and there, and really never stopped!

Ben knew the way to Kelsey's horse-girl heart. He planned a 4-day surprise trip to a dude ranch in Steamboat Springs, CO, where they went on daily horseback rides, fly fishing, and other outdoor activities. Ben popped the question halfway through a morning horseback ride, and while neither of them remembers exactly what was said, they knew there was a 'yes' in there! --- We're so excited to celebrate the next chapter of our lives with you.
