If you know me, you know I have a twisted family tree. I have many siblings but I am also an ONLY child (Figure that out….). So, when one of my 1/2 sisters wanted to reconnect with their 1/2 sibling, it was Margaret and Michelle to the rescue. Margaret, our cousin, discovered that her 1/2 sibling had a sick daughter and they were doing a benefit for that daughter at the VFW club. So, what do you do when family is in need...you show up. Turns out, there are two people with the same name in the same very small town and it was NOT her 1/2 sibling. Now what do we do? Leave? That seemed rude? So, we stayed, played some pool, bought some food, and helped contribute to the fund. At that time, I played pool on a league in my home town. The VFW pool sticks SUCKED. So, I went to the car to get my personal ones. As the VFW is a private club, I forgot that I couldn’t get back in. As I was about to knock on the door, a sexy blue eyed man opened the door for me and disappeared. I told my cousin and sister that I didn’t know who that was, but I would find out before the end of the night. Needless to say, it was Allen! Here we are now, almost 11 years later, making it permanent. I am genuinely excited to spend the rest of my life with this sexy goofball. He makes me laugh, holds me up when I am weak, and makes me always want to be a better person. And “SO TOGETHER THEY BUILD A LIFE THEY LOVE”
