One of our favorite pizza spots, a short walk from the Inn at Middletown.

Mondo

This is the perfect spot for a small group or a date night. Sitting at the bar by the warm pizza ovens is cozy on a cold evening.

Krust Pizza & Bourbon Bar

Great drinks and fun atmosphere. They also have large Italian entrees. We recommend the penne alla vodka and chicken parm. Good for large groups.

Sicily Coal Fired Pizza

Tapas bar also walking distance from Inn at Middletown

Great spot for bagels and breakfast sandwiches.

Well known for their crepes and signature coffees.

Perk on Main

This is a perfect fall activity. About a 10-15 minute drive from Middletown. 
Go to the Apple Barrel Market for fresh produce, cider donuts and more. 
Book a tee time at Lyman Orchards golf club for a round of golf.

West Hartford

Chester is a quintessential New England town, about 20 minutes from Middetown. It's worth visiting in the fall. Home to several shops and restaurants. We recommend Grano Arso, River Tavern, Otto Pizza, Marker 37, Simon's Marketplace.
