We’re Getting Married!

Our journey began at a New Year’s Eve party that we were not planning on attending but somehow ended up there. During the party, we had not spoken but just crossed paths until the end of the night when we finally talked to each other. At that moment, it was then that this long journey of love would finally begin. Over the last seven years, we have shared loving moments and experiences that we will cherish forever. From the first date, meeting each other’s family, to deployments and fantastic adventures, our love had grown into something extraordinary. As we close our “dating” chapter, we open a new chapter in our lives and embark on a new everlasting adventure.

Like every girl, Lauren had already told Matt what she wanted when the time was right for the proposal. The details included somewhere with sand, a dinner, and moonlight. On March 18, 2021, Lauren and Matt ate dinner at a restaurant down in Florida, called On the Edge, in which the spot of the proposal would take place. The setting was magical and perfect, with the moonlight glistening off the water, the warm breeze coming in, and the future wedding song playing in the background.
