Groom
Kelly says... Wren is kind. He is a good person and he doesn't hesitate to go out of his way to help his friends. He cares deeply about the people he loves and shows that love through Acts of Service. Wren is goofy and fun uncle who loves to play with our nieces and nephews. He is a devoted dog dad, and a generous and caring partner.
Bride
Wren says... Kelly is the kind of person you just HAVE to know. Her compassion and gentle spirit is what initially attracted me to her, and she brings joy to so many people's lives. She is definitely the "mom" of her friends and is always going the extra mile to make sure everyone knows that they are loved and irreplaceable. Not only that, but shes one of the funniest people I know, but don't tell her I said that...
Best Man
"in a world of boys, he's a gentleman" Eric and I met when Kelly and I started dating so we haven't known each other long. But right away, we just seemed to really click and get each other on a deeper level. Even though he's a Cowboys fan and I'm a Steelers guy, we still seem to have a good time. He was the first person I told when I decided to propose to Kelly, and his overwhelming support gave me the confidence boost I needed. I know that if I'm ever in a jam and need support, he will be there without question, and that's why he's my best man.
Maid of Honor
Maddie & I met our freshman year of high school when I complimented her shoes and kept asking her if she was planning to go to the Vianney mixer (she wasn't, which was a great choice on her part). We bonded in Spanish class over Justin Bieber and 'a band I probably had never heard of' called NeverShoutNever (I had in fact heard of them). Our friendship has only continued growing and strengthening throughout the years, and living together for 3 years made our friendship even closer. I couldn't imagine getting married without her by my side.
Groomswoman
Haley and I met at work! We both very quickly bonded over discussions about DEI, exes, and our childhood experiences. Haley has supported me at my highest highs and sat in the trenches with me when I was at my lowest of lows. No matter what happened, she always offered love and kindness, and that's really what anyone who knows her would say about her. Shes the epitome of a 'best judy', a girls girl, and the best advocate you could ever ask for. PLUS, shes always down for a good party!
Matron of Honor
Courtney & I have known each other since we were in kindergarten, but truly became best friends at 10 years old. After singing 'What's That, A Hat" from Wizards of Waverly Place together, we knew we'd be friends forever. We went to grade school and high school together, and in college I visited her dorm more than my own. We've been by each others sides as we grew up into the adults we are today, and I know I wouldn't be who I am without her support and love.
Groomswoman
Corinne and I also met at work, and she very quickly became my work wife. We also bonded over similar childhood and religious experiences. I know when I need someone who is gonna speak absolute truth into my life, shes the first call I make. She is fiercely supportive, and has always encouraged me to be true to myself and follow what excites me and brings me joy and peace. I know when I need to gossip or rant, shes ready to rock and roll--with her in my life, there's never a dull moment!
Bridesmaid
Becca & I became friends at the end of our freshman year of high school after I wrote her a note telling her I didn't hate her, I was just awkward and shy. Our friendship grew immediately from that point, and we never looked back. We keep up with our tradition of seeing Cardinals games together every year laughing about who should hit a homerun next and predicting how much the Cards will win by. Becca is loyal to a T and I know she is never more than a text or phone call away.
Officiant
Colin & Kelly go way back, all the way back to the summer of '97, in fact. Who better to officiate the wedding than Kelly's older brother who is really ready to WOW the crowd?* *The bride and groom are not responsible for any wedding guests who may be sawed in half by the Officiant during the magic show portion of the ceremony.
Bridesmaid
Elizabeth & I also became friends in high school, but we really solidified our friendship in the early days of college. I do not want to know how much money we spent attending $5 Tuesday Movies or the amount of margaritas consumed every Wednesday and Saturday at our weekly trivia nights. As kindred 'quiet but funny' girls, we made great roommates complaining about the woes of constantly being told "You should talk more", and even started our own podcast together. After living together for 5 years in our early 20s, I know Elizabeth is always available to gossip and laugh with, especially if there's dinner, movies, or concerts involved.
