On April 8, 2022, Will decided to ask a very important question. The day started with my good friend, Eden, coming over to go out for drinks and food. All three of us got ready at the house and decided on doing something a little different before hitting happy hour. We planned to tour the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse for the first time. We arrived, purchased our tickets, and made our way up to the top of the lighthouse. Not knowing this was planned in advance, I was the first to reach the top, followed by Eden and then Will. The view was incredible! So naturally, pictures had to be taken. Eden exclaimed, “Hey! You and Will get together and I’ll take a picture. The background is too nice not to”. So we did. As I looked at Eden, I noticed she was making a video so I asked, “Why are you recording me?!”. By this time, Will was already behind me getting into position. Not even 10 seconds more, I turned around and noticed Will down on one knee! My heart skipped a beat and I automatically thought it was a prank. I yelled, “You’re joking!” (At least 8 times). He shook his head no and asked me, “Kelly will you marry me?”. My heart dropped to my stomach and I was absolutely speechless (me quiet? I know, its crazy). I eventually said YES! once all my thoughts were together and I knew it wasn’t a joke after all. Since then, Will and I have been on cloud 9!
