Although gifts are not required, your generosity is much appreciated. We are just honored to have our family and friends present for our special day. Our honeymoon will be celebrated in Kona, Hawaii for 9 days. Why Kona, you ask? For those who don't know Kelly, she is an avid triathlete and participates in Ironman events all over the US. Tammy has supported Kelly at a few events and has mastered the sherpa duties. In September of 2022, Kelly participated in Ironman Chattanooga (TN) which is a 2.4 mi swim, 112 mi bike, and a 26.2 mi run, and must be done under 16 1/2 hours. While at the event with Kelly, Tammy had learned that Women for Tri, who was promoting women in the male dominated sport, were allocated additional Kona World Championship slots to female age groupers. Well wouldn't you know, Kelly got one of these slots. "Honeymoon in Hawaii?" she asked. How could Tammy say no. Though the first 4 days will be race focused, there will still be 4 days to enjoy our time as newlyweds.
