Savannah International Airport (SAV airport code) is the closest airport to the city (10-15 minutes) and the one we recommend that guests fly into. Other airports nearby include HHH (~60 minutes), JAX (~2 hours), and ATL (~3 hours).

Historic Inns of Savannah

One of the things we love most about Savannah are the historic inns throughout the city. While we don't have room blocks at them due to their smaller sizes, some of our favorites we recommend for a quintessential Savannah trip are The Gastonian, The Marshall House, Kehoe House, Hamilton-Turner Inn, and Bellwether House.

Located about 1/2 mile from our wedding venue, The Marshall House is another hotel we stayed at during our first trip to Savannah. While it is more casual than some of the other inns, the location is fantastic and the service is wonderful. Fun fact, this is an old Civil War hospital (insert haunted).

This place is on our Savannah bucket list. We haven't had the chance to visit it yet, but it is one of the top inns/hotels in Savannah.
