Ceremony

Our invitations did specify "formal" attire; we don't mean wear your finest ballgown. That just means no cargo shorts and t-shirts! :)

The ceremony is at Taughannock Falls State Park, right at the base of the falls at the end of the Gorge Trail. The walk to the falls is about a 3/4 mile, but it is flat, wide, and graveled. It's a really nice and easy walk, and only take about 20-25 minutes, depending on your pace. We are in the process of securing a golf cart rental, just waiting on the permission from the Park Office, for those who are less able to walk the trail comfortably. Due to the area being mostly gravel, we do recommend that the women wear shoes with a wedge, comfortable thicker heel, or flats - and then changing into the stilettos for the reception if you wish!

Saturday!

We specifically wanted to have our wedding on Friday so that everyone could have all of Saturday to explore Ithaca and its surroundings. John and I plan to hike, and invite anyone to join us. There are lots of great sights to see in Ithaca and Watkins Glen, as well as wineries and breweries!
