Breweries, Wineries, and Cideries
Throughout the local area you may have a hard time deciding WHICH wineries, breweries, and cideries you'll have time to fit into your trip! Hiking and Outdoors
You cannot miss spending time in the outdoors if you're in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia in the fall! There are SO many incredible hikes of varying levels of difficulty and duration. A few that we recommend are: -Rockfish Gap Trailhead -White Oak Canyon Trailhead -Sanders-Monticello Trail The Charlottesville Downtown Mall is only a short 20-minute drive from the venue. This area is a nice walkable stretch that is full of unique shops and boutiques, tons of restaurants. The cobblestone streets give it a very rustic vibe while being surrounded by the city's rich history. If you have read this far, this family is Virginia Tech loyal...so if you want a great town to explore, head 2.5 hours west to Blacksburg!
Grand Caverns
Located about a 50-minute drive from Ruckersville, the Grand Caverns are located in the Town of Grottoes. This is a guided tour that lasts about an hour and a half long.
