Kelly and Andrew both moved to Chicago in 2016. Despite having similar favorite bars, living within two blocks of each other, and even attending the same New Year's party in 2018, they never met. In 2020, they both decided to leave Chicago and stay with their families - Kelly in Maryland and Andrew in Pennsylvania. While at a friend's house in Pennsylvania, Andrew was given Kelly’s number by a mutual friend. After exchanging text messages about how deep dish pizza is overrated, Kelly and Andrew agreed to go on a date upon returning to Chicago, two months later. During their first few dates, they realized they had a strong connection and fell in love quickly. They've spent the last few years exploring new places, supporting each other through job changes, Kelly bombarding Andrew with dog adoption photos, Andrew convincing Kelly to take up golf and skiing, and deciding to avoid Midwest winters by moving to Washington, D.C. They're excited to continue their journey together and invite everyone to celebrate with them at their wedding.
