There are plenty of things to do in the DC area. Some of our other suggestions include visiting neighborhoods like Georgetown in DC and Old Town in Alexandria, VA. The Wharf, National Cathedral, and the National Zoo (for those with kids!) are other great spots to visit. There are also many hikes and nature walks nearby.
