Mackinac Island is a beautiful island in Lake Huron and a step back in time to old-fashioned waterfront leisure. There are no motorized vehicles on the island. Transportation is by horse carriage, bicycle or foot. Our hotel offers bicycle rentals. Getting to the island from the mainland: - Ferries: Depart from Mackinac city and St Ignace; Mackinac Island Ferry Company and Shepler's Mackinac Island Ferry. - Air: Air shuttle service from St Ignace, MI. freshairaviation.net or private plane Getting to the area from out of state: Pellston Regional Airport (PLN) south of Mackinaw City and Chippewa County International Airport (CIU) north of St. Ignace offer shuttle services to the Mackinac Island ferry docks. You can also rent a car from other Michigan airports and drive the ferry docks. Some other airports include: - Traverse City, Alpena, Saginaw, Escanaba and Marquette ~1.5 - 2.5 hrs - Detroit ~4 hrs For more information: https://www.mackinacisland.org/plan-your-trip/getting-here/

The last day to reserve a room under our reserved block is Tuesday June 18, 2024. We strongly recommend you book a room as soon as possible. Mackinac Island is a very popular summer destination. Hotels in Mackinac city aren't a good option for Saturday night, as the last ferry leaves at 10pm and it takes about 30min by horse carriage to get to the docks from our hotel.
