Keenan grew up in a suburb of Washington D.C. and is a proud Capitols and Commanders (well Redskins) fan. Most of Keenan's family still lives in the D.C. area so this is a place we love to frequent.

Hannah grew up in a suburb of Chicago, Glen Ellyn - where she met lifelong friends (including Sam, who created this collage) and was lucky to have all of her family within 15 minutes

A traveler at heart, Keenan's first international trip was to study abroad his Junior Spring semester in Malaga, Spain. His favorite parts were traveling throughout Europe with friends and his host mom's Paella.

Both influenced by older siblings to attend USC, Hannah followed her brother's footsteps to USC (who painted this picture of the famous Horseshoe) and Keenan followed his sister's (Allison). In the Fall of 2017, Keenan and Hannah met at the University of South Carolina thanks to their Business Fraternity. Keenan, a year above, was returning from his semester abroad for his Senior year. Hannah was beginning Junior year. They met for the first time, shaking hands as business people do, outside of Strom gym before playing in a basketball tournament (well, Keenan mainly played and Hannah cheered the team on from the bleachers).

On a "Brotherhood Bonding Retreat" with their business fraternity in the Smokey Mountains near Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Keenan and Hannah were paired as beer pong partners. After an incredible run and coming out victorious (despite neither normally being good at the game)...sparks were flying. We officially started dating 1.5 months later.

Only a couple months into dating, we committed to doing long distance, and Hannah left for her study abroad in Sevilla, Spain. Her favorite parts were living with her bestie and Maid of Honor, Jordan, and traveling throughout Europe with college friends (highlight was St. Pats in Ireland). Many friends and family came to visit, including her mom, who painted this picture.

After graduating, Keenan started his first job in Charleston, SC. Keenan and Hannah have many fond memories there - sunset beach walks, exploring the city, and hosting visiting friends. Hannah grew up vacationing here with her grandparents, and this painting has been done by her maternal Grandmother.

Keenan having started his first Job and Hannah in her Senior year, they went on their first real trip together, to Costa Rica, over the Christmas holiday of 2018. Packed with adventure, they explored national parks, rode horses through the volcanic forests, and survived the lows of food poisoning. To this day, it's their favorite trip they've been on together.

After graduation, Hannah moved back to Chicago. After a year of long distance, Keenan moved to join her. Chicago has been home ever since and we are so excited to share it with you! Photo taken by Hannah's dad, an aspiring photographer and Chicago local.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin is a favorite nearby getaway as a couple and with friends. There's no shortage of breweries or us beer lovers. Our favorite is Broken Bat - nothing beats going there for a game of whiffle ball (especially since Hannah grew up playing with her family and has found it be the only sport she can beat Keenan in)

After having loved Costa Rica so much, Keenan and Hannah booked a trip to Belize for beach / forest adventure. They drove golf carts around Ambergris Caye, snorkled, explored ruins in Guatemala and hiked through an ancient cave system. Admittedly, Hannah booked this trip thinking a ring my come with it but Keenan had another plan in mind :)

Keenan, Hannah and Grizzly set out for the Indiana Dunes to explore the beach and hiking dunes together Labor Day weekend of 2023. Beach time with Grizzly is our favorite activity. Once on a quiet part of the beach, Keenan got on one knee and pulled out a ring from Grizzly's treat bag, to which she said "Yes!", of course.

Keenan and Hannah set down roots officially in March, buying their first place together - a condo in West Town. While moving / planning a wedding at the same time was a bit crazy, they've loved settling in to their new home on Augusta Blvd.

While you saw our public vows at St. Alphonsus Church today, yesterday we shared our private vows with each other in our happy place - Loyola Beach. We love nothing more than running around the beach with our dog, Grizzly, at sunrise and couldn't think of a more perfect place to share what we love most about each other and are committing to in marriage.

Thank you for celebrating with us here, at Artifact Events. Hannah's maternal Grandfather has a tradition to paint the wedding venue where his family is getting married. This tradition sparked the idea to requests other artists in our lives to paint our favorite places.
