They met at a wedding! Rylee was a bridesmaid in the wedding, and when Keegan saw her walk down the aisle in her emerald green dress, he had to get her number! They went on their first date at Tallgrass Tap House a few weeks later. Afterwards, they got ice cream and they were lost in conversation, and Yahtzee playing, until the wee hours of the morning. The beginning of their dating life was rather eventful. During their first date, they had a run-in with a crazy drunk in Aggieville who got thrown out of a bar. On their second date, they got stuck in Rylee's basement waiting out a tornado that hit Manhattan. When it finally passed, they got food at the only restaurant left in town that still had power: Freddy's. Once you go through a tornado with someone, you're locked in :))

Keegan got down on one knee at Honl's Beach in Kona, Hawaii during a sunset picnic featuring brownies and Moscato. The sky was overcast most of the day, but it cleared just in time for sunset. It was a perfect night! Fun fact: The ring got left on the airplane in LA! It was recovered before their connecting flight; no harm, no foul. Keegan and Rylee designed the ring together and all of the diamonds incorporated are from her mom's wedding ring with her dad, so it is extra special!
