We're getting married!

We actually met through mutual friends and had known of each other for several years before getting together. It happened at a time that neither of us where looking for a serious relationship and it all just kind of fell into place.

If you ask Justin, he will give you a different answer each time on how late I was. 😉 But in reality, it was only like 5 minutes. The classic first date; dinner at Zepplins and then a movie after to see Deadpool.

Justin proposed Christmas morning (cue the awwww’s 🥰) It was planned out a lot different than it actually went down, of course with kids being involved. 😉 We had been up late on Christmas Eve wrapping the kids gifts (because that’s just what we do, wait until last minute) and as we where getting finished up and he was trying to get me to go to bed so he could secretly wrap the ring in multiple different boxes, one of kids wake up sick and then a little bit later the other wakes as well. So needless to say it made for a very early Christmas morning for us. After the kids got done opening gifts and we are trying to find the motivation to start cleaning up, Justin comes in to get down on one knee and proposes. All the while the kids are oblivious to whats happening and just want us to help them open “one more box” so they can play. 🥰
