Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach is a beachfront resort located on a secluded private costal bluff. There are 6 pools, 5 restaurants, and an on-site market. There’s a private golf course, fitness center, and spa. All of the rooms offered are suites. Although the resort is beachfront you cannot swim in the ocean as the water is too rough. The sister resorts have swimmable oceans, just take the free shuttle over . The resort is quite large so there are golf carts that are available to drive you around the resort. Download the app before your stay to have access to the map, restaurant menus and more!
The hotel is all inclusive, so your room rate includes all meals and drinks! You also have access to the amenities (pools, restaurants, beaches) of the two sister properties that are a quick shuttle ride away.
Yes! 24-hour, all-inclusive suite service is available!
Mexico's tipping culture is impromptu and often spontaneous. Tipping is always optional although the people serving you will appreciate the small token of your appreciation in exchange for good service! We recommend bringing at least $100 per person for tips. We usually do $5-10 for the drivers, and $1-5 for bartenders/wait staff. If you plan to do any additional excursions or massages, plan $5-10 per person as well.
Please DO NOT book your room directly on the hotel website. There are special group rates. To get the rate you must book through the link in the Travel tab.
We do kindly ask that you stay at this resort. We did negotiate the rate as low as possible for our guests! The shuttles between resorts can have long waits and are never consistent. There is a list of other fees associated with guests not staying on the grounds of the venue.
Airfare is not included in the room rate. San Jose del Cabo International Airport (SJD) is the airport guests will be flying into. We recommend booking through your preferred airline in order to use any air miles you have and get the best deals. You are given the option when booking your hotel stay to book the flight as well, however the hotel isn't liable for any changes to your flight so this wouldn't be our recommendation.
Yes, you do! Start looking into this as soon as possible. If you have a passport already, make sure to renew it six months before it expires! Check your expiration date now so you aren't scrambling to get an update, or apply for one if you don’t have one yet. The U.S. Post Office can handle renewals - check your local USPS office for this service.
Yes, transportation is available from the airport to Pueblo Bonito Sunset. Please contact the concierge team for more information.

Almost every business takes U.S. dollars if you don't want to exchange your money for Mexican pesos, no problem. Everyone accepts USD!
Pueblo Bonito has a free shuttle that runs between their resorts (it goes directly into town) so this is a great option to go into town. Uber is an option in Mexico, however, they cannot get into the resort gates
This website will always be updated regularly, so please check it to see if there are any changes.
