Our story began in 2005, we met in the eighth grade when we were both just thirteen years old. We met through mutual friends and instantly clicked! We both had a small crush on each other back then... but no one (and by no one we mean Luis) ever made a move. Throughout the years we stayed in touch – periodically hanging out and keeping each other posted on our exciting milestones. Years later in the spring of 2012, we reconnected and spent a day together at the museum. From that day on, it was months of hanging out and talking every day... we both knew it felt right and was only a matter of time. On June 26, 2012, we made it official and KayLu was born! Five years later, on December 10, 2017, Luis popped the question while on their trip in Japan... And Kaysey obviously said FINALLY!
