Question
What is the best way to travel to the venue?
Answer
The closest airport is Winston-Salem. The cheapest airport to fly into is Charlotte International. The venue is about 1.5 hours north of Charlotte.
Question
Where can I stay if I fly in early and leave later?
Answer
Due to the limited space at our house, we sadly will not have room to house everyone. Luckily there are several hotels very near our house. We have NOT block rooms out at specific hotels. You will likely have to stay near Charlotte and then drive to the venue. Unfortunately there are no hotels near the venue since this is a very small mountain town. Are animals allowed?
Answer
Please do not bring your pets. We will have all four of our dogs at the venue and in the wedding. Please be respectful of our dogs (no hitting, chasing, grabbing their faces, kicking etc). They will be very excited with all of the company. If you have any complications with them please talk to Taylor, Kayla, Dave/Tracey Steffes or Amanda Nelson and one of these people will handle them appropriately.

Are children allowed?
Answer
We respecfully ask that no children are present at the ceremony. Please make sure you have appropriate accommodations prior to the ceremony.

Is smoking allowed?
Answer
Smoking is allowed outside and away from the house/reception hall. All cigarettes must be thrown away. If there are any left that are not in the trash, it will be a $200 fine PER cigarette.

Rehearsal and Dinner
Answer
We will have a rehearsal the night before at the venue followed by dinner. If you are in the area and able to join us or in the wedding party we would love for you to celebrate with us. Rehearsal will start at 5pm at Winmock venue. Dinner to follow at Foothills Brewing in the Footnote building at 7pm.
