Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Bay View Weddings is an all-outdoor venue. The ceremony will take place at the Overlook, while the reception will be on the main lawn and/or inside a heated tent.

What is the weather like in late September?

Answer

Traverse City starts to cool down in September. Daily high temperatures range from 65°F to 70°F, and daily low temperatures from 50°F to 55°F. You may want a light jacket for the outdoor portions of our day.

What is the attire?

Answer

Attire for each event can be found on the "Events" page. But we'd sum it up as cocktail attire.

How should I get from my hotel to the venue?

Answer

We will be providing transportation from the hotel where we have a room block. Uber and Lyft are not easily come by in Traverse City, so we recommend you either take one of our shuttles or drive to the venue. If you are planning to drive yourself, parking will be available onsite at the main reception space.
