Right after the holiday break ended in 6th grade, I started school at LTMS. On my very first day in my very first class, Ms. Simar's math, I met some weirdo who wore an LSU shirt. Fast forward a few months and a few friends in common later, Troy and I became friends. We remained friends on and off throughout middle and high school. Six years later, I sat down at the desk in front of Troy's and said "we're gunna be friends again"..... and the rest is history! (written by Kayla)

Two days after our seven year anniversary, Troy took Diesel and I on a hike. The hike was filled with our usual: doggy swims, snacks on the picnic blanket and many failed family selfies. While enjoying some sliced up pineapple on a pebble beach-like area, Troy popped the question in true character...whipped out the ring from who knows where and just smiled at me, as I was grinning from ear to ear.
