Jordan and Kayla connected on Hinge in November 2019 after realizing they both grew up near Santa Clarita, CA. They found time to meet for their first date on December 26, 2019 at a restaurant with the “best tacos” according to Kayla. Of course the only thing they ended up eating were tortilla chips because Kayla was too nervous to eat anything else. Jordan has yet to try the tacos.

3 years to the day of their first date, Jordan and Kayla took their puppy Finn to the dog park to run around. While wandering the park and heading in the direction of the car to return home, Jordan kept getting on his knees to “fix his shoe” — he had to do this multiple times as Finn had no interest in stopping his sniffing. Eventually they ended up in one spot long enough for Jordan to be able to get down on one knee and propose. Of course Kayla said yes!
