Yes! Our goal is to make everything as convenient as possible for our guests!
Weather permitting, our ceremony will be completely outside on the lawn. Doors will be opened to enter the building come cocktail hour. During that time, guests are welcome to roam in and out of the building, but we ask that you mind the newlywed picture-taking that will be taking place. We do have the entire venue reserved, so guests do have access to the beach and surrounding areas to take their own pictures. The reception will be completely inside, with the exception of our mock exit.
Input James River Country Club or 1500 Country Club Road Newport News, VA 23606 into your GPS. It is behind Christopher Newport University. The Country Club has its own parking lot available so there will be plenty of parking available for guests. There will be a golf cart accessible for those who require assistance to get to the back side of the building for the ceremony.
We will have a cap on the bar and then once the limit is reached, it will turn into a cash bar!

You can access our registry from our website! As much as we'd love and appreciate everyone's tangible gifts, we ask that everyone please donate to any of the funds listed in our registry!
Unfortunately, our big families on both sides do not allow for extra guests other than who is already on our guest list.
We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the ceremony, so you can have ample time to find your seats and enjoy the scenery for pictures!
It will be early September, so late summer. For those who know Virginia weather, it can be unpredictable so please stay updated until the day of. Most likely prepare for warm weather and hopefully a sunny day!
