Kayla and David first met in 2018 while working at the same Italian restaurant together. He still remembers when she walked in for her interview while he was working there. David always thought that she was beautiful and funny and he always tried to be around her. Sadly, it was only a summer job for Kayla while she was in college. David waited all year until she came back for the summer and they started doing everything together. After asking her to be his girlfriend (for the 4th time), she finally said yes and they became inseparable. From grocery shopping to going to the gym, they did everything together. David loved Kayla for her sense of humor and he admired how hard she worked. She loved him for his patience and selflessness. 4 years of memories later, they have traveled and explored new places, adopted their baby Archie the good pup, and somehow managed to spend as much time together amongst the pandemic. They are each other’s best friend. They have accomplished so much and continue to work towards their goals with the other by their side.

David proposed on August 20th 2022. Kayla won a photoshoot giveaway on Instagram with an amazing photographer just months before. David knew that this would be the perfect time to propose and Kayla would not suspect anything. The photoshoot began just like any other would. Kayla and David were laughing and having a great time together. The photographer then put David and Kayla in a back to back pose so they could not see each other. It was then that David got down on one knee while Kayla was still facing the other direction. When she turned around she saw David. She screamed and cried because she absolutely hates surprises. David was incredibly nervous and basically forgot everything he wanted to say, but he did manage to ask Kayla to marry him! They were both so happy to be engaged and spent the rest of the photoshoot unable to focus on anything else other than each other. It's been an absolute dream ever since.
