We’re getting married!

After a successful swipe right, our journey began. Eric brought Lucius along to meet Polly for a hike through the MetroParks. This was his second attempt to secure a date after his first attempt failed due to Polly needing to go to a Guardians Game. After spending time getting to know each other on their stroll, Eric immediately asked Polly to join him for a candlelit strings concert later that week. There was an instant spark, and things progressed quickly after that.

Tuesday's are discount movie nights in Crocker Park, so Eric invited his parents and Polly’s mom to a dinner and movie. He took everyone to a nice dinner at Wild Mango (though the group kept trying to change the location to Culvers, unaware of his plans.) After ordering a bottle of champagne to celebrate, he asked for the parent's blessings before placing his grandmother’s ring in Polly’s glass. To celebrate, they then went to the movies, where Polly barely sat still, too excited to start telling people. We're excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
